Enbridge Inc. has gotten the green light on a 182-megawatt windfarm in Bruce County. One of the largest, the project will be completed by the end of 2008. The project, when complete, will be the second-largest wind farm in Canada . Despite mixed reactions from the folks who live in the area (citing fears of noise and unsightliness), Enbridge got approval from the Ontario Municipal Board to flip the switch on this project. Look for hundreds of new turbines coming soon.
