As Earth Day approaches, the United Church of Canada is encouraging its congregations to reduce their ecological footprint, with how-to guide on making church buildings more energy efficient and sustainable."As a church community we are called to live with respect in creation," said Michelle Hogman, program co-ordinator for Congregations and Community Development. "The guide encourages congregations to take concrete steps to live out this conviction."
